Dress for Success Uniform Policy 2024-2025

Clayton County Public Schools has a uniform dress code policy for students Monday through Friday.

Huie’s school colors are red, black and white.

• Tops:  Button down shirt or polo in red, black or  white                      
• Bottoms:  Dress, Pants, Shorts or skirt in khaki or black. Skirts and shorts must be bermuda length (touch the knee)
• Students are required to wear closed toe shoes

Clothing Not Allowed

• Jeans, leggings or jeggings that substitute for pants
• Skate shoes, house slippers, flip flops, shower shoes, crocs, open toe or open back shoes
• Headgear including hoods
• Sagging pants

All students must have a clear book bag.  

 

School Supply Lists for 2024-2025

 

Pre-Kindergarten

• 1 rest mat 
• 2 blankets and/or towels
• Clear bookbag (no rolling) 
• 2 sets change of clothes (labeled with name in bag)
• 2 boxes of tissue

Kindergarten, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th  and 5^th Grade

• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 2 hand sanitizers with pump
• 2 containers Clorox or Lysol wipes
• Quart Ziploc bags
• Gallon Ziploc bags
• Clear Bookbag
• Headphones (with clear pencil pouch for storage and labeled with name)
• 1 Pair of Blunt Tip Scissors
• Crayola Crayons
• #2 Pencils
• Expo dry erase markers (regular tip)
• Expo dry erase markers (fine tip)
• Playdough for kindergarten and 1^st grade ( two 4 oz. cans)
• Vinyl folders (with 3 prongs:  3^rd – 5^th grade only)
• Wide Ruled Composition Notebooks (Primary for Kindergarten)
• Composition Notebooks (5 each for 2^nd - 5^th grade only)-  No wire or loose leaf paper
• 2 sets change of clothes (labeled with name in bag)
